Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as browser "local storage") used by the 360Synk web app (app.360synk.com) and the 360Synk client portal.

1. The short version

- We only use cookies and browser storage that are needed to sign you in, keep the service secure and make pages work, plus a few settings you choose (such as keeping the side menu open).
- We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics or tracking cookies.
- That is why there is no cookie banner.

2. What we use in the web app

- Sign-in details (browser local storage: authToken, refreshToken, currentUser). Keep you signed in. Kept until you sign out or they expire.
- Anti-forgery cookie (.AspNetCore.Antiforgery…). Protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Removed when you close the browser.
- Load-balancing cookie (ARRAffinity, ARRAffinitySameSite). Our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure, may set this to keep your visit on the same server. Removed when you close the browser.
- Settings you choose (browser local storage): whether the side menu is open (sidebarOpen), sound settings (synk_sound_prefs_v1), in-app guidance progress (guidance_state_v1), the "getting started" panel once dismissed (ts_getting_started_dismissed), and the progress of a photo import (ts_photo_job_id, ts_photo_job_started). Kept until you clear them.
- Pop-out window layout (browser session storage: ts_focus_layout). Removed when the window closes.

3. What we use in the client portal

- Sign-in details (browser local storage: portal_token, portal_refresh_token, portal_user, portal_tenant). Keep you signed in. Kept until you sign out or they expire.
- In-app guidance progress (browser local storage). Kept until you clear it.

4. Content from other companies

Some pages load content from Google. Loading it sends your IP address and browser details to Google.

- Google Fonts (web app and client portal pages): the fonts are downloaded from Google's servers.
- Google Maps (map, dispatch and address pages only): maps and address look-up are provided by Google Maps Platform, under Google's privacy policy.

5. The mobile app

The 360Synk mobile app does not use cookies. It keeps your sign-in details in the device's secure storage, and uses Google Firebase for push notifications and crash reports.

6. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in storage or the anti-forgery cookie, you will not be able to sign in.
